Elmak Energy Electrical and Mechanical Contracting was established in March 2013 to provide project and contracting services within the energy sector. Since its inception, the company has successfully completed numerous large-scale projects both domestically in Türkiye and internationally.

In 2015, the company formed the EHA Ordinary Partnership, expanding its portfolio to include significant projects such as the Ankara High-Speed Train Station, BEDAŞ and BEPSAŞ headquarters buildings, and electromechanical works at the İstanbul Airport. Additionally, Elmak has been involved in projects like UEDAŞ, ÇEDAŞ, AKDENİZ EDAŞ GIS data collection, and various superstructure electromechanical projects.
Elmak employs approximately 1,200 personnel across domestic and international construction sites. The company’s ISO 9001:2008 Quality and ISO 14001:2004 Environment certificates, initially obtained in 2014, have been upgraded to the 2015 versions, and the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety certificates have been revised and integrated into its management systems.
Elmak is the official subcontractor responsible for MEP works in the ongoing Kuwait International Airport project. It continues to serve as the electromechanical subcontractor for the central cooling building, service tunnels, water treatment building, and T2 terminal. The construction, electrical, and mechanical works for the entire camp site and social facilities have been completed and delivered. Additionally, electrical works for the airport parking lot, part of the project’s second phase, are underway with testing and commissioning activities ongoing.
For the Kınalı-Tekirdağ-Çanakkale-Savaştepe Motorway Project, the Elmak-YM İdis Joint Venture handled highway lighting and electrification for the Malkara-Çanakkale sectionincluding the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge-along with partial supply and installation of the bridge structure health monitoring system and intelligent transportation system works. The AUS-SCADA and Sixense-SHMS systems for the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge Motorway project have also been completed.
