Limak Anka Cement factory produces 3 different types of products: CEM I 42,5 R, CEM II/A-M (V-LL) 42,5 R (CEM PLUS+), and CEM II/B-LL 32,5 R.
In the “Türkiye Cement Sector Energy Benchmarking” study conducted by the Energy Efficiency and Environment Directorate of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Türkiye, Limak Anka Cement ranked second in 2023.
Limak Cement has successfully conducted Türkiye’s first hydrogen-fueled cement production tests at the Anka Factory. The facility achieved the first 50% carbon-neutral fuel supply using a green hydrogen blend. In line with its green cement roadmap, the company continues to focus on reducing its carbon footprint, improving energy efficiency, and expanding the use of recycled materials and alternative fuels. In this context, trial studies to increase the proportion of additives used in cement grinding are being successfully carried out.
In the Limak Anka Cement plant, which continues its activities with the goal of “Zero Accident”, training activities were carried out in 2024 on professional, technical and administrative subjects such as occupational safety, environment, energy efficiency and personal development.
