Together with the Atlantic Council Turkey Programme, Limak produced a poignant documentary about Syrian women who are under temporary protection status in Turkey. The documentary explored their long and difficult journey to seek safety in Turkey and building their lives in a new and unfamiliar country. The documentary was presented to an international audience in New York in 2021, in Washington DC in 2022 and again in Turkey in 2022.
The aim of this project is to scale-up awareness of the storiesthat so many refugees must face, especially exploring the effect on female refugees. The Documentary stresses the fact refugees are a vital part of making businesses a success all around the world and can bring a huge amount to our societies.
