The Jubail-Riyadh Water Transmission Line Project encompasses the construction of one main and two intermediate pumping stations, situated in Jubail and strategically positioned between Jubail and Riyadh, respectively. Additionally, the project entails the installation of 14 steel water storage tanksseven located in Jubail and seven in Riyadh-with an individual capacity of 170 thousand cubic meters, culminating in a total capacity of 2 million 380 thousand cubic meters.
The project scope includes civil works, supply and installation of all equipment for pumping stations, tank farm, reservoir stations, and connection stations, hydraulic design for the entire Jubail-Riyadh Water Transmission System including the connection line, control and communication system, electrical power systems, testing and commissioning of the system.
Commencing in September 2018, the project has achieved significant milestones, with substantial completion attained by July 2023. Presently, the warranty and maintenance phase is underway, with final acceptance predicted for July 2024.
