The 3 millionth cubic meters of concrete of Yusufeli Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant (HEPP), which the construction works continue by our company, was poured by the President of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan via video conference, and with the participation of Agriculture and Foresty Minister Bekir Pakdemirli from the construction site.
The project, which continues with all precautions against the corona virus at the construction site, has also completed the construction of 56 kilometers of tunnels. When completed, it will be the highest dam in Turkey and the third highest dam in the World with a height of 275-meters. The total water storage volume of the dam is approximately 2.2 billion cubic meters while the planned installed capacity is 558 MW.
Yusufeli Dam and HEPP, which will be completed in November, will contribute 1.5 billion liras annually to our national economy.
