Çetin Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant, which was started to be constructed by Limak Insaat in July 2017, is located on the Botan Stream within the boundaries of Şirvan and Pervari district of Siirt. Construction of dam body was completed in 2019 and impounding has started.
The planned total installed capacity of 420 MW Çetin Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant will generate 1 billion 174 kwh energy annually. The largest RCC body type dam of Turkey and Europe with 165 meters height and 4.726.527 m3 dam body volume, Çetin Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant will start energy production in April 2020
