The groundbreaking ceremony for the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge and Malkara-Çanakkale Motorway project, in which our company won the contract with the Joint Venture Group, was taken place on March 18, in Lapseki. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended to ceremony with the live connection and Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım, Transport Maritime and Communications Minister Ahmet Arslan, General Director of Highways İsmail Kartal, executives of the Joint Venture Group and invitees from the public and private sectors attended to ceremony.
The bridge will be the longest suspension bridge in the world by its length of main span with 2,023 meters surpassing and planning to be opened in 2023, 100th year of the Republic of Turkey.
