A significant social responsibility project for educational purposes has been accomplished in Kosovo by cooperation with Boğaziçi University and the Kosovo Electricity Distribution Company (KEDS), which we took over in 2013.
Within the scope of the project aiming to generate skilled manpower for energy and electricity sectors and set a model for youth unemployment in Kosovo, the ‘KEDS Academy’ was founded by the Company, endeavoring to make electrical engineering students as well as technical high school students studying related departments ready for their careers in the energy sector.
The opening of the Academy took place on the 14th of February in Pristine, with a ceremony organized by KEDS under the participation of our Company’s managers, KEDS managers, Kosovo Government Representatives, representatives of Kosovo-based international communities and companies, representatives of Pristina and Boğaziçi Universities, and students.
