Gülseren Özdemir Special Education School whichhas a total capacity of 300 students consists of 27 classrooms. Students with moderate and severe mental disabilities, moderate and severe autism, and multiple disabilities (mental and physical) will be able to receive decent education.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Limak Holding Chairperson Nihat Özdemir said, “It is our greatest desire that children with disabilities become individuals with equal opportunities in our society. From this point of view, we will embrace these children, support them through the highly equipped school, and celebrate their successes in the coming years; which gives us eternal happiness.”
Gülseren Özdemir Special Education School, is the largest of its kind in Turkey, comprised of a primary, middle and high school and is built on 5,000 square meters.
