The contract includes geotechnical investigation and modeling, engineering, tunneling, and excavation works for the Aquellum project on the shores of the Gulf of Aqaba as part of NEOM. Aquellum will be realized as an innovative project with accommodation and leisure areas, which will be located in a location that will not be visible from the outside.

• T1 spiral tunnel, 650 meters
• Vertical shaft, 130 m.
• Rock barriers
• Exposed excavation, 192,000 m³ The design of the project has been completed and approved by the administration.
The upper half of the mobility tunnel has progressed 161 meters and is 72% complete. Surface cleaning and rock barrier installation works have been completed on the slopes. T1 tunnel excavation works have recently started and 6 meters of progress has been achieved. Tunnel excavations, geological surveys, vertical shaft, and exposed excavations are targeted to be completed in November 2024.
