Ebru Özdemir, the daughter of well-known Turkish businessman Nihat Özdemir, hosted a farewell dinner in honor of the Danish ambassadorial couple Christian Hoppe and his wife Yelena on Friday night at the Limak Ambassadore Hotel, owned by the Özdemir family.

Although it was held on one of the warmest evenings in Ankara so far, all the guests felt blessed to be able to attend such an event and enjoy the beautiful terrace of the newly opened Limak Ambassadore Hotel.

The mutual friends of Ebru Özdemir, the Hoppe couple and their daughter Eliza attended the party, including Ambassadore of India Chitra Narayan, businessman Refii Berent and his wife Maria, Kaan Asena and his wife Yasemin, Kasra insurance company owner Lale Sepici and Sheraton Hotel and Convention Center General Manager Christion Bruel and his wife.

The event brought together two generations together as apart from the ambassadorial couple’s friends there were also many of their daughter Eliza’s friends present. The guests enjoyed the delicious meal of artichoke as a starter, then salmon as the main dish with Turkish wafer with ice cream in the middle as dessert served on the terrace over looking the capital. However the terrace will soon be there for Ankarans to enjoy as a Banyan restaurant, with the other two branches being in Istanbul’s Ortaköy and Nisantasi.

During and after dinner the guests danced to live music performed by Group Meditation.
