Since 2016, Limak Mozambique Cement Grinding and Packing Factory (Limak Cimentos SA) is active with annually 700.000-ton cement capacity in Maputo where is the capital of Mozambique. Limak Mozambique Cement, which is managed by Limak Cement’s own team, is granted the award of “Best Industrial Investment Award between the Years of 2014-2017”.

Awards were given between the dates of August 27th – September 2nd, 2018 in the FACIM’s opening ceremony, which is the biggest international fair in Mozambique. The awards were given to the best companies in the fields of export, energy, industrial investment, agriculture, fishery and tourism in the country considering the data of the last 3 years.

Limak Cimentos SA, which is the first cement investment in Africa by Limak Cement Group, currently employs about 200 people. The Group also has a grinding packaging plant investment in Ivory Coast.
