Obruk Dam and HEPP, which is located on the Kızılırmak River, 16 kilometers north of Dodurga, Çorum, is an energy and irrigation project. The clay core semi-permeable inlay body of the dam has a height of 67 meters from the riverbed and 125 meters from the foundation. The dam volume is 12 hm3 and the maximum lake area is 50.21 km2.

The installed capacity of the HEPP is 202.8 mW and the annual energy generation is 515 million kWh. The facility is the 18th biggest facility of Turkey, supplying 5/1000 of the total energy demand of the country.
