Within the project of Gaziantep-Mersin Natural Gas Pipe Line there are 220 km 40 inch main line,50 km 24 inch and 16 km 16 inch branch pipe lines.

The contract of the project tendered by Botaş was signed in December 2002.The project was completed and became ready for receiving gas as of March 2005.

Within the scope of the project by providing gas to Bahçe, a town near Osmaniye and Industrial Region, Kozan, Kadirli, Ceyhan, İncirlik, Zeytinli, Yenice, Tarsus, Mersin Organized Industry Site, Ataş refinery Facilities and Payas Organized Industry Site, İsdemir and İskenderun Organized Industry Sites, it is aimed that the facilities will use cheap energy without waste and thus contribute to the country economy.
